How To Become An Associate Member:
Businesses interested should submit a letter of interest to our office requesting Associate Membership for consideration at our next Board of Directors meeting.
What Is An Associate Membership?
An Associate Membership with the Nevada Association of Counties is a commitment to furthering cooperation between the private sector and local government.
The Mission Statement of the Nevada Association of Counties is:
"To encourage county government to adopt and maintain a spirit of local, regional, state and national cooperation which will result in public policy that optimizes the management of county pesonnel, financial and natural resources; to provide courteous and effective services that will earn and maintain public trust in county government."
As an Associate Member, you will lend your expertise and knowledge to our local government officials so that we will achieve our Mission.
Who Can Be An Associate Member?
Any entity, company, organizatin or individual that is not a member county or county official or employee is eligible for Associate Member status.
What Are The Benefits Of An Associate Membership:
Associate Members have non-voting status on the NACO Board of Directors
Associate Members will receive all NACO membership correspondence and publications at no charge, including the Annual Directory of Government Officials
Associate Members can attend all NACO Annual Conference functions and receive an additional free registration for a representative
Associate Members receive recognition on the NACO website, Annual Conference Program, and the Annual Directory of Government Officials
What Is The Annual Associate Membership Contribution And Where Does The Money Go?
The annual Associate Membership contribution is set by the NACO Boad of Directors and is $750 per year. The membership fee has never been raised. The revenue from Associate Membership contributions is used to support training and educational programs presented by NACO.
