How We Are Governed: All 17 of Nevada’s counties are members of NACO. As such they
are entitled to one representative seat on the Board of Directors and each
have one vote. The Board's Executive Committee is comprised of the following: President, President-Elect, Vice President and Past President. Each county represented by an officer may elect to have an additional commissioner sit on the Board. Additionally, there will at all times be one Board member from Carson City, Clark County and Washoe County serving on the Executive Committee.
