Biography of John Ellison |

Elko County Commissioner John Ellison is a native Nevadan . He was first elected to the Elko County Board of Commissioners in 2000 and has continued to serve in that capacity. In 2005 John became Vice President of the Nevada Association of Counties, serving next as President-Elect and finally as President in 2007.
Additionally John has been very active with the National Association of Counties in Washington D.C. and became one of their Board members in 2007.
Other Boards that keep John busy are the Elko Senior Activities Programs, Debt Management Commission, Humboldt River Water Authority, Nevada Fire Safe Council, and Western Counties Alliance.
