Claudette Springmeyer is the Comptroller for Douglas County in Minden, Nevada. She began as the Chief Deputy Auditor in 1988 and was appointed Douglas County's first Comptroller in 1994. Prior to working for Douglas County, she was in the banking industry for 12 years.
She is a 4th generation native Nevadan from Yerington.
Currently, she serves as Fiscal Officer for the Nevada Association of Counties (NACO) and is a past president of the County Fiscal Officers Association of Nevada. She has been an active member of CFOA (County Fiscal Officers' Association) and NGFOA (Nevada Government Finance Officers Association) for 16 years.
