The Senior Attorney will possess a high level of emotional intelligence and can work collaboratively, building trust with stakeholders at all levels. Ideal candidates should possess an understanding of Nevada legal principles, practices, and procedures of civil, criminal, and administrative law and have demonstrated knowledge of constitutional provisions affecting the local government level and real estate law, particularly relative to rights-of-way and easements. Familiarity and experience with Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations, and complex principles and practices of municipal and business law are essential. The Senior Attorney must be comfortable in high-pressure situations, and well versed in court procedures and rules of evidence, and be able to effectively apply legal knowledge and complex principles in the supervision, participation, preparation, and trial of difficult and important cases.
